Goth Look: Vena Cava

Happy World Goth Day everybody! I will be spending my day doing the very goth task of yardwork which involves me planting my flower containers and stuffing them full of black petunias, dark chocolate coral bells, and other various dark and purple-leafed things. (It also involves a sun hat, huge sunglasses and probably a full tube of sunscreen!)

Anyway, here is a super old look that never got posted, it's from probably over a year ago. I used to have to travel around for my work, and whilst on long drives my mind often wandered. For some reason, I was thinking of those pictures you see in biology/anatomy textbooks of the circulatory system and how they show the oxygenated blood as red and the de-oxygenated blood as blue. When I finally got home, I was having some difficulty thinking of something to do with my makeup and I decided that I would try to do something red and blue, just like the blood from the pictures......yes I am an idiot and that is how my brain works. I used some Fyrinnae shades and an MPZ one as well to achieve this; my blending was pretty sketchy as I was messing around with Pixie Epoxy but I kind of liked how this colour combination turned out!

FACE: MAC Prep and Prime, MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation in NC15, and MAC Select Sheer Pressed Powder in NC15.

BROWS: MAC Eyebrow Pencil in Stud.

CHEEKS: Evil Shades Blush in Vixen.

LIPS: MAC Prince Noir, one of my favourite lipsticks ever!!!

EYES: Base: UDPP and MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre. Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy was also used.
Shadows: Fyrinnae Sorceress and Dark Magik,  My Pretty Zombie TaraYvonne (all of these have really neat blue and/or red sparkles in them).
Liner: Maybelline Liquid Black Eyeliner, MUFE Aqua Liner # 11, UD Perversion.
Mascara: Maybelline The Falsies.

I could really use some false lashes here. Also, my brows are  looking pretty sketchy. LAZY!!
You can kind of see some of the sparkliness of the eyeshadows here!
