Red and Black Week: Red, Black, and White

Today's theme is the colour combination of red, black, and white. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this combination whether you're dressing for work or the club. The outfit I have for today is of the cabaret/burlesque goth style. After looking at the pictures, I realized I may have over-accessorized a bit, there's kind of a lot going on! Maybe there's some truth to the old saying about removing one accessory before walking out the door........

  2. The arm warmers might have been a tick too much, but otherwise you look very glamorous! I love your style!

  3. Hm...Probably I'd never had thought of it if you don't mention, that you overaccessorized, because you look abolutely gorgeous, but indeed, this look is a little too loud for me. I usually go with less accessories - sometimes I don't even wear any, but my idea is, that there are too many different fabrics and patters in your outfit; for example, your jewellery and armwarmers match your corset perfectly, but not the top (bra?) Then you have some shiny fabrics on your shrug and lace and fringes on your skirt combined with mesh. I do think they look great together, but perhaps that's why you feel like something is a little out of place. :)

  4. You look amazing - particularly love the corset and the necklace. I have to be careful with accessories as I can be drowned out by them, so have to go easy on the size - so I personally am a less is more girl. The look works well for you though :)

  7. I actually love how this came out exactly like this. I am an over-accesorizer, though. I am from the house of before you walk out the door, put one more thing on.
