Red and Black Week: Military Fashion Show

It is the final day of Red and Black Week! Thanks to Sophistique Noir for hosting this event. I have found some new blogs to follow and seen some great fashion and makeup inspiration from the other ladies who participated!
Today's outfit is a military-themed ensemble. When I wear this outfit, it is one of the rare times that I wear a hat. I know this may be blasphemy to some people, but I cannot stand hats! I just look silly in most of them. Some people wear them with amazing style and flair, but I just feel ridiculous wearing one for some reason.
I don't have any makeup pictures today as they did not turn out. I wore a very simple neutral smokey eye, false eyelashes, and red lipstick because one cannot go wrong with that sort of thing in my opinion. I didn't have much time to get ready as going out was a last minute thing.

Red and Black Week: Latex

Today's outfit and makeup were for an event where wearing latex and other such things are encouraged. I went with a red and black colour theme because you can't really go wrong with it in my opinion! I wore some black lip gloss over red lipstick and I liked the effect. It's very subtle but it added some nice depth and gloss to the matte lipstick I was wearing.

Red and Black Week: Red, Black, and White

Today's theme is the colour combination of red, black, and white. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this combination whether you're dressing for work or the club. The outfit I have for today is of the cabaret/burlesque goth style. After looking at the pictures, I realized I may have over-accessorized a bit, there's kind of a lot going on! Maybe there's some truth to the old saying about removing one accessory before walking out the door........

Red and Black Week: Clubbing Makeup

For today's Red and Black week post, I decided to show one of my go-to club makeup looks. If I can't think of anything else to do, I often use black eyeshadow on my lid and blend some red shadows up out of the crease. I often like to use some red glitter along my lashline as well just to provide some contrast with the black eyeshadow. These are old pictures but you get the idea.
