GOTH DISCLAIMER: Some of my posts contain references to makeup, makeup products, outfits, styles, and bands that I may have labelled or described as "GOTH". I just wanted to clarify that everyone has their own definitions of the gothic style and gothic music and what constitutes a gothic lifestyle. Also, many people who listen to "goth" music or dress in that style would not prefer to be labelled as "goth". The awesome thing about gothic culture is that anyone who wants to can participate in whatever way they want. People can create their own styles, listen to whatever music they want, and label themselves in whatever way they choose. What I'm trying to say here is that when I refer to something as "goth", it is because it pertains to the way I choose to participate in the subculture. I am in no way trying to say "if you are goth you should dress/do your makeup/listen to this music/ look like this" or "this product IS GOTH" etc. My interpretation of the style and culture may be very different than how another person who considers themself to be goth would define it so don't take any of my goth posts too seriously. I have fun creating these type of looks and sharing them on my blog, that's all there is to it!!
