THE GOOD: I really enjoy the colours in this palette. I thought I would like the brighter Wildflowers palette better, but I'm really loving this one! There are so many different looks one could do, from smokey to colourful to neutral! Also, the colours in this palette blend together much better than the colours in the Wildflowers palette and the texture seems to be a bit nicer as well......perhaps this is all in my head. For $2.50 Canadian, this is a great little palette that I can see myself using a lot.
THE BAD/UGLY: The packaging was all scratched up, but it was on sale (regular price $3.99 Canadian) so whatever.
THE VERDICT: This palette is really versatile and is an excellent find for a cheap price!
Time for a look!
FACE: MAC Prep and Prime, MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC15, MAC Select Sheer Pressed Powder in NC15.
BROWS: MAC Eyebrow Pencil in Stud.
CHEEKS: Evil Shades Blush in Skon. It makes you look like you have the most deliciously bruised cheeks!
LIPS: Guerlain Kiss Kiss Lipgloss in 803 Intriguing Butterfly.
EYES: Eyes were prepped using UDPP and MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre. Shadow 1 was applied under the browbone and Shadow 2 was applied on the inner lid. Shadow 3 was blended into the middle of the lid and Shadow 4 was used in the crease. Shadow 5 was used in the outer V. The upper lashline was lined with Maybelline Black Liquid Eyeliner and the lower lashline was lined with Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Mildew. The waterline was lined with Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Perversion. For some reason I can't remember if the bottom lashes were coated with Medusa's Makeup mascara in Envy but they probably were. Maybelline One By One Mascara in Blackest Black was used on the upper lashes.
